Love 'em! I feel like I'm shopping vicariously through you - thanks for the shoe fix :)
Take a look at Skechers, too. I spent a few days in NYC last month and my Skechers were great.
Boooooo. We're not all that shallow.
A don't mean ALL all of you... just generally the shoes on others noticing ones ( I'm really one of you if you go far enough back in time.)
Anyway, I keep reading this thread as:
Call Girl Seeks NYC Shoes
You might also want to check into Clark shoes. I have very bad feet - and I have had the most luck with this company in finding shoes that are comfortable, that don't start hurting my feet after a few hours, and look nice. Indeed, I do not even have to wear my orthotics for my current pair! I have had more luck with their shoes over Keene, Merrel, and pretty much any other brand that I have tried.
Nice. Ahem.
I'm heading to Manhattan to hang out with Charlie Sheen - woohoo!
Problem is, I have a job where I generally don't need shoes. I'm expecting to do a LOT of walking in NY. Any suggestions on shoes that are good for walking, warm, and hopefully good-looking?
Also, I could use a fancy watch.

In other news, the Keens failed. Too narrow, felt like I'd wobble off them.
That's funny.:D
Keens are too narrow?! Your feet might be as wide as mine!
New Balance shoes come in widths, but they look like sensible shoes at best. I like them for walking around, but I call them 'my ugly shoes,' but only when they can't hear me.
Dansko makes some shoes that look like normal pretty shoes.
