Dogfish Head 60-Minute IPA and Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale are two of my favorites.
But....anything light beer (Bud, Coors, Miller) after a long run or ride on a hot, hot day is downed almost instantaneously.
Can't really tell you my favorite...but we try beer, especially local microbrews not matter where we are!
Our Colorado to Moab trip we filled the rented mini van w/ microbrews! I like mostly Amber ales or seasonals.
We also did the Pumpkin Beer tasting for Halloween!
Hard to find, our wine shop had some...we bought them out--not sure where it is from it is called Golden Promise. Comes in big bottles and so so smoooooooth!
Love beer (and wine)!!!:)
I like Blue Moon and any wheat beer. But I also like regular old Coors light and Dos Equis.
Ohhh... my kind of question.
I like:
Hoegaarden White beer
Chimay
Stella
Lambic Kriek and Geuze
La Chouffe
Duvel
Orval
Palm
Mort Subite
Moeder Overste
and a Guiness from time to time.
You ladies are going to force me into drinking a beer at 8:00 in the morning!
Sam Smith's - Nut Brown Ale
Great Divide - St. Bridgette's Porter
Sam Smith's - Oatmeal Stout
Founders - Breakfast Stout
Newcastle - Brown Ale
Wachusett: Nut Brown Ale, Blueberry Ale, and Black Shack Porter.
I like Stella Artois and Fat Tire, but my absolute fav is Guinness if it's poured right.
I have the extreme good fortune to work with a bunch of beer snobs.
We're having a stout tasting this afternoon at happy hour, I'll let you know the results.
Papaver, I really need to come visit you someday ... :D
Stout! That is nostalgia. You know they often recommend stout to breastfeeding women ? Not a whole bottle of course... just a little. It stimulates the milk production it seems.
This is a list of a large part of belgian beers...

I'm glad our beers aren't as expensive as in the states, where it's more a luxury.
And you're always welcome jobob. :D
My favorite has always been Guinness (GLC comes from 'Guinness lovin Cat'), but since moving to Oregon, I've tasted a lot of delicious local beers that I really like. Unfortunately, I suck at remembering names. :o
I will say that on a hot, dry afternoon in Cabo, my Pacifico beer with a lime shoved in it (and a side of fish tacos), tasted like a bottle of liquid heaven. ;)
I drink much more wine than beer. Much, much more. But beer faves include:
Schell's Pale Ale
Schell's Dark
Sam Smith's Nut Brown Ale
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Guiness
My "house" beer is Sam Adams Light. Very tasty for a light ale.
