I vote that TE'ers living in the Southern Hemisphere start first, if you want to get the ball started in late 2009. :p It's gettin' near freezin' here in the Northern Hemisphere.
If the TE'ers in Vancouver cycled to each other's homes, it's like a skip 'n hop 'n jump relay ..:D..baby rides. :p

You could sign "the thing". Ride, wear "the thing" (hard to be a jersey because of sizes), sign it or draw, pass it to the next person.
Or take a picture with "the thing", post and ride onward.

This is so awesome! Some of us (me included) are probably so hard to get to that nobody would think it was worth it - BUT - we could get some real long tours going. Some of us would have to schedule our vacations around it. Or maybe we could have it mailed to us then we could go on a long road trip with it and do trip reports or something . . . .
I wonder if there'd be any way to get some sort of little GPS locator inside of "the thing" so that we could all watch it's progress online? We could combine some ideas - do like a torch that we could all sign and get our pictures taken with?
