So sorry for your loss! If it's any comfort -- over the 41 years, even if you never said it, I bet your brother figured it out that you loved him. Still, it's good advice you've given us. I'll be sure to give my sibs and other family members big hugs when I see them this coming weekend.

Condolences . . .
Every family has its own unique ways of expressing love. I'm sure your brother knew you loved him.

So sorry to learn of your loss. Your plea hit a nerve with me.
I lost my younger brother some time ago, during my workaholic phase. Never went home for holidays and such because there would always be time "later".
He died at Christmas and it was a harsh wake-up call that there would be no "later".
You and your family are in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry. It's so very hard to lose a sibling.
I just got back from a cross country trip to see my sister who has cancer and that's exactly why. I don't know how much more time I have with her. When she goes I don't want to feel like I could have spent more time with her but I didn't.

Reflections...
I am so sorry for your loss :(
Lately, I have been reflecting upon the relationships I have nurtured over the past year and how much each of those people mean to me. I have been working on some heartfelt letters :)
Often, I believe we avoid expressing our love towards others but it is such a moving experience to give and receive it :)
Very thoughtful advice :)

Oh. SheFly, I am SO sorry. I truly am.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been there, and it will be very hard now and for some time to come. Eventually, you do come to accept the awful truth of their being gone, but you never forget them and you never stop loving them. Concentrate on the times you had together.

(((Shefly)))
My family lives on the other side of the country. But we do chat on the phone. I always end the conversation with "I love you." I will think of you when I do this next.
My condolences to you and your family.
