Same here, once I get out there, I'm delighted. It helps if I set out a specific time the day before. That's why I miss my commute.

Surprised myself again! The forecast was for rain/snow mix today, but when I got up early (thank you hungry Eddy kitten) and flipped on the weather, they said the rain would start in a couple of hours. So, out I went!
I did a short 18 miles loop, and it was really nice out. Overcast and warm, like over 40º. No wind!!! Loved the calmness of early Sunday morning, not much traffic, but lots of runners. I'm guessing people are revving up their training for the Boston Marathon, which is in April. Perfect riding conditions.
Tomorrow looks like a rest day right now, but I may change my mind. It's been known to happen.
Red, same karma again! Must be a redhead thing, eh?
I was up and out early before the precip hit. Forty degrees w/a steady wind, but it felt like spring compared w/Saturday. I was able to get my usual Sunday 43 miler in, plus walk the dogs, before the clipper hit (very light flurries that melted upon landing - the best kind of snow!).
Um, well, I rode my road bike 3-4 days a week, plus daily short rides on the mtb (to exercise the dogs) and occasional Coach Troy video. I was down maybe a couple of weeks last year and that was the ONLY time I was down. Dumb mistake. This year I managed only 4 rides in Jan, 2 in Feb. No mtb'ing since my fav trails are closed due to storm damage. I feel lost without my woods. :( :(
