Oh Dex you have the same look on your face that i have when I have a headache!! how telling.
You guys look terrific, and brave too, not just to do it but to post your times.
What matters is that you are doing TRIATHLONS, hello? That's really awesome!
I feel like I accomplished something every single day that I ride home 4.5 miles and up my little 200 foot hill. I can't imagine the glow you guys got after TWO tris in less than a month
Forza!

For anyone who wants to know more about this one, here's some basic info:
It looks like they had 327 participants in the sprint (.75k swim, 20k bike, 6.6k run) and 302 participants in the supersprint (.375k swim, 13k bike, 3.3 k run), plus a few relay teams. That's about a sixth the size of the Danskin participation.
You don't actually step right onto the timing mat when you exit the swim. The timing mat is partway back to transition, probably 50 or so? yards away from the swim exit. I would guess my swim was a little faster than the Danskin, given this and the slightly increased distance.
It'll be interesting to devise a smart training program with a PT that will help me to stay under the fibromyalgia radar, since swimming has certainly set that off. I'm heading off to talk to that PT right now about this---how to make tri training sustainable with this fibromyalgia overlay. We'll figure it out.

Salsa - how did things go with the PT? Productive, I hope.
Biciclista - just checking: formerly Mimitabby?
I like the new name! Been thinking about changing mine, too. I feel like I can't talk about work here.

Liked the PT a lot! We will work on back and shoulder stuff that are functional for swimming, and on designing a training program that takes the fibromyalgia into account. I will do the V02 max/metabolic testing thing also, since that's part of making the training more efficient--quality over quantity. Since I went to the pool today, had a great time, and was almost immediately in pain, it was good timing for the appointment.

And the sports podiatrist I saw today looks just like Mark Harmon.

I had a weird month last year where two of my new doctors had the same name as a professional athlete.
