I just checked our local HIM rankings to see what I would have to do to not come in last.
I thought they had a 7 hour cutoff but it seems the last 2 went past the 8h mark.

But anyway, I don't want to be out there suffering for that long so good job Pika...

I know the cut-off for the run on this one was 5.15 after the last wave start for the run. You could start the run but then they started pulling the aidstations at the 8 hr mark.
I gal I know was the last to get an official time- just over 9 hrs.
Yikes! Now She is one tough cookie!
I was glad to see she got an official time and finished- I don't think I would have the mental tenacity to pull that off!

Yay, Pika! Once again your fabulous attitude shines through! And you really must be proud of yourself! There are so many of us who would never, could never, attempt, let alone complete such a complex and huge event, especially in crazy awful conditions. You rock!!

I guess those butterflies I sent maybe helped a bit - sorry they didn't catch the parts falling off your bike!!

Now that you're done - can we go for a ride together??
