The past few mornings here have been my ideal. Temp in the low 50s, heading out around 5:20am. Not a car in sight, birds singing, mist rising off the water at all the little ponds and swamps and lakes I pass. Somehow the air is just so much more fresh at dawn. What a fabulous way to start the day!

day after rain when air is clean and you can see for miles and miles. Temperature I like is between 45F (7C) and 75F (23C).
And for once in my life I would love to have steady 20MPH tail wind the whole ride. I like any time of the day.

I like it around 75 F, winds SSE at 5 mph, 30% humidity, and low pollen count. :)

Ideal weather would be sunny and not too windy. I'd say 75-80 degrees would be ideal. I love it when the breeze feels like a relief on my skin.
I also really love my spring morning commutes. I love the birds and smelling the lilacs on my way to work. Things are quiet and still...but I think I like the sunny afternoon rides even better!

riding
I like 70-90 F and wind under 20mph sustained. Like that happens in Kansas.
No it does if you ride between 6:30 and 8 am.
I don't ride then much.

cool and cloudy for me...

I have ridden when it was in the 40s, too cold on the hands, and as high as 104, hot but as my friend says "you make your own breeze, so lets ride!" My favorite is when it is about 70, with little wind or humidity. Since I've been living in Dallas/Fort Worth I've become a real humidity weeny. I can take it, but prefer not to.
And by the way, over here in Fort Worth we do have hills...not mountains mind you, but hills.

Last week people in my club were making comments about my wool jersey, full finger gloves and Lycra tights when it was 70 degrees and sunny. I knew it was going to drop into the mid to high 60s by the end of the ride, and as the sun got lower I'd be chilly. I was dressed perfectly. :D
Perfect for me is 80-85. I'm not particular about the humidity - I'm not a huge fan of high humidity, but I don't mind it. One thing about high humidity is it really concentrates the flower aromas, and I just love that!
But no wind. I hate wind. For itself, and for the way it stirs up the pollen.

I hate riding in high, humid temps. So why do I live in Florida, you ask? For regular paychecks, of course, so I can continue to support my addictions of the two-wheeled kind.
