I was kind of hoping to do the 75 miles, but it is more likely to be 50. We'll see how my hill training goes in the next month.......

Good Morning Amici Veloci:
I've lost the thread that had the link to donate money to the team.....can someone please give that to me again?
Corsair "burning money in her wallet and trying NOT to buy a jersey but do something good instead" Mac
PS Jobob: can you see what you started here?? :D
Beautiful work SadieKate... that's perty enough for a REAL tattoo grrls!
Back of the calf... good spot... flexes nice as you pedal :p
Congrats Amici Veloci - you just went over your goal! Well done!
ps: this is scary - some of you know my Whole Real name now! thank goodness it all fit in those little bitty boxes!!
I keep telling Jo to raise it. Only one of my sisters has kicked in anything. I'll keep nagging the other two. :)

SadieKate "Does Terry do custom jerseys??"

Love the logo!! will make a great jersey!
We got our barking spider jerseys done here:
http://www.jos.ca/
the guy who owns the shop is Ron Hayman - do a Google search on him - he was none other than the 2004 Canadian Olympic cycling team coach, amongst many other accomplishments in his long career.
And he makes great custom sublimated jerseys without huge minimum orders!! and sign me up for one! :D
oh yeah, and he's in Canada, eh, so like yer 'merican dollar goes just a little further...
Check it out and have a blast ladies!!
Namaste,
~T~
Sadie:
In addition to the Great Mass Getaway in June, I am also walking in the
9 mile in April...may I borrow your logo to show east coast support?? I've made a million t-shirts out of logo's like these for my kids over the years ...just gotta heat that ole iron right.
karen
ps-Let me know where you all decide to have your shirts made because I am
going to have some made for the Getaway ride for me, hubby, and son
The pledge goal is a moving target. I raise it a few hundred, then a few days to a couple of weeks later V. pm's me to say I need to raise it again. :D
I need to hone up on my Greek mythology. Is it Sisyphus (sp?) who had to eternally roll the stone up the mountain? That target keeps moving.
Yep, it is.
Much better to be Sisyphis, at least he gets to enjoy the walk back down the mountain to start pushing his rock again. Prometheus was chained to a mountain and had his liver eaten by an eagle every day and every night it would grow back. Eww.

Kind of like riding up the last 17% grade at Diablo over and over. :DQuote:

I have to warn you that the larger you make it, the fuzzier the crank rings get. We weren't doing jerseys but maybe next year. So, one of these days I was going to try to sharpen the edges of the crank ring (I'm not going to count the number of teeth involved). Be sure to post pics of your family and friends! Plus, can you tell us your method for t-shirt transfers?Quote:

Ok, here I go getting teary-eyed again. :)
Sadie:
Hubby buys transfer paper at Staples, (I believe it is made just to do iron ons), he then cleans up the picture and transfers it to the paper via a printer he has at work. We made thirtysomething t-shirts for Great Grade Four when
my kids were in the class.
I really wish I was out there with you all this weekend. Maybe next year us east coasters and mid-westers could get our act together and come out for a TE/M.S. 150...that would be great. When the boys and I do the M.S.
150 here in soaking wet Massachusetts I'll send you some pictures.
