Same problem here with watering, blindness in a breeze or downhill, very scary. For winter wear I use panoptx. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,...Polarized.html They have a foam cup that keeps all the wind, dirt, and bugs out but has little vents to prevent fogging. For summer I use Cebe. The model I have is a wraparound, similar to Oakley w/o the price :) Good luck!
When hubby had lasic surgery, he received a pair of polarized mini goggles and I actually wore them when mtb'ing this winter. They helped keep the wind out but he said I looked like a bug. :rolleyes:
This thread reminded me how much I love these fitover sunglasses. They don't look 'odd' or huge, just cool and they feel comfy over my regular glasses.Quote:

Thanks for the link, Lisa. I ordered a pair of the Fit-ons in tortoiseshell yesterday. They are just what I was looking for! It was either prescription trifocal sunglasses for about $500, or another pair of crappy clip-ons.

There is a type of gopggles/glasses I used on a 1250 mile horse ride I did across mostly desert (NV, UT, WY and NE) called CLICs. Find them here: www.sportclic.com scroll down to the goggles. I ruined mine on the trip - got scratched, but I might try another pair for biking. I think you can get them on ebay for less.

Last year we had extra money in the flexible spending (I can never figure out how much to put in) and spent the entire bank on Oakleys with Rx lenses. I love them for riding... I worry like crazy every time I misplace them. They're also quite dark, and only have my distance vision corrected, so I can't see anything smallish without switching back to my bifocals.
Might want to give the over glasses ones a try too. Gotta check the balance in that flex spending acct. first though!
I have some eye watering in the cooler weather, but not so much during the summer. If I do I don't notice it, cause I'm to busy trying to keep the sweat out of them.
Tifosi is the best value in glasses. A wrap lens will solve your problem.
I have an old pair of Oakleys (90's version) that I tried on a ride (they have been semi-retired and used for lawn mowing) and I still have watery eyes. :rolleyes: Mini goggles seem to help me the best.
Ok so this weekend i'll go out and look for a wrap lens. I can't pull off goggles. Ahahaha. I already look like an alien with my helmet. Plus the BF would be too embarrassed to ride with me. :p
