Glad to help! I know how hard it is to hide from the sun when we enjoy outdoor sports so much!
One more thing, I was recently tested for vitamin D levels and it turns out that I am SEVERELY deficient (this explains the pain I experience, as vitamin D deficiency causes bone pain). Anyway, this is due to the fact that I am so diligent about no sun exposure. I never even considered that . . . So, now I am on a regimen of mega-doses of D3 until I can get my levels up to "normal." Should be 30-40 and I'm at 8 . . . Yikes!
Anyway, just another thing to consider . . .

thanks again Michelem
I just saw your reply post and the light bulb went on. I had my first stress fracture last fall after a 150 mile bike ride one weekend and racing a 10k hard the next. I am still struggling with it; flares up every time I run plus I have felt "achey and tired". I attributed it to allergies, menopause and still dealing with the injury. Now you have me wondering. I am going to take a D supplement and check in with my doctor at my annual in a few weeks. Thanks for sharing your experience.
