Boo why is all this fun stuff up north??
The 40 miler has been bumped up to 50, the cue sheet is posted.
Looks like it will be challenging for many of us, but do-able. I'm not familiar with the roads past Silver Creek Valley, but that looks like a hard climb.
Let me know if you sign up, I'd love to do this ride with you!

Ed to add: And it's for a very good cause. I was re-reading Fat Cyclist's blog, and he & his wife had a lot of help from the LAF.
I'm doing the 70 miler (or is it 60-something miles) in Philadelphia again this year. I did 70 last year and 100 the year before which was a totally different route going into downtown Philadelphia. Both routes were really hard but I still had fun despite the pain (I am so not a good climber but have learned from riding on the eastern shore that I prefer hills to pancake-flat rides). The atmosphere at these rides is really great.
The Philly ride this year has a 60 miler, I wonder how the route will change from the 70 miles last year, since it is definitely starting at the same place unlike the first and second years. I signed up for the 60, but the rest of my team is doing the 45 mile one and I'm nursing an inflammed shoulder and have been banned from my bike by my ortho. So I'm starting to think that I'll be with my team on the 45 mile. I agree, the atmosphere is wonderful! And the 40 mile last year was plenty challenging for me. :)
OK, I see a lot of TE'ers are planning to do the 50 mile route.
Is anyone thinking of doing the century?
