The Bubbster and I are both signed up. Now if it would quit snowing so we can ride.
It's rather funny looking at all the people running around town dressed from spring when it doesn't coordinate well with their goosebumps. Our next door builder/neighbor was going to install some outdoor lights for us but has held off because he "already put away his long underwear and doesn't want to dig it out again."
The Bobs are in.
Just thought I'd mention that we have Friday and Saturday night reservations at the BW with the special rate.
I had made reservations at the Holiday Inn Express nearby ($80/night AAA rate), but I'll look into the BW too.
BW is $99. I just grabbed a couple rooms fast after having bad experiences with other rides. The HI is close by?
Yep. The BW is at 2627 S 6th St and the HI Express is at 2500 S 6th.
Thanks, ma'am. I'll toddle off to their site.
I'm signed up (sans Bottle Opener).
What happens if I bring the bottle?
We'll have to make do with twist-off.
Oh wait, I have a bottle opener on my keychain too - how handy is that!
A spoke wrench works well too, as BottO* discovered after my ride on Sunday.
* In true Jobob fashion, the receipt for the final checkpoint at the Marina Safeway for my 200K permanent was for the purchase a 6-pack of Fat Tire Ale. Alas, we did not have an actual bottle opener in our posession, but the intrepid LeeBob made do with a spoke wrench. Hence, LeeBob is heretofor known as the Bottle Opener, or BottO for short. "BO" having a somewhat negative if not on occasion not totally inaccurate connotation .
Can Opener of course being already taken.
Yes, but he's a super Can Opener, not just any old can opener.
V.
As opposed to a Deluxe Can Opener ?
