It's not antique. If you google Huffy Men's Cruiser, it's a current model, almost $100 at Amazon.com and $80 at WalMart.
The lady that was getting rid of it said you would need level terrain or have strong legs. :rolleyes: We don't have hills. It's pretty flat here.
I rode it today and it rides smooth and gives a good workout! Riding THAT really feels like a kid again.

Also found abandoned on the condo grounds, and just to make sure I left it out there a week and nobody picked it up.
I found a Raleigh Sprite 27. It's in bad shape, waaay too big for me or even Knott, there is rust, paint job's bad .... it needs an extreme makeover.
But for someone with time on their hands, spare parts and skills it could be a great bike or a money pit :p :rolleyes: you be the judge.
If nobody here wants it I'll find a way to donate it; Bike kitchen or Trips for Kids Thrift store etc. Or Craigslist it.

We've got a bike co-op and they take in homeless bicycles and make them ridable :) www.thebikeproject.org End of any given semester there will be a handful of them stuck out on the road with "FREE" on them, which is a lot nicer than just leaving them on the bike racks at the U!
Sweeet lookin' Huffy! Gotta make sure the pieces parts work, though.
Sandra, why give that bike away when you could ride it and love it yourself? Use it as your lovely-day-ride-around-the-block bike. We all need one of those.
In DC, Trips for Kids is a great organization.
I am tempted to keep it. :)
