hee hee
I just checked Brandy's blog (very nicely done, btw - she has quite the talent for writing! ) and George posted this:
"I didn't know what to expect but I know now that I think it would be easier to do Solo RAAM"
Oy, poor Brandy. :D
Brandy's blog has been great - Team Beat Cancer has really been inspiring. I'm still following Kerry White too via the RAAM forum - she's riding unofficially and should finish tomorrow.
RAAM definitely deserves TV coverage, and improved coverage from the cycling press, and a much better website. It is thrilling to see "everyday" athletes, and their crews, do such an amazing thing.
Didn't CBS do a special on RAAM in the last year or so?
(Altho if it's the program I'm thinking of, it was very disappointing - it went waaay overboard on the human interest to the point of being sappy. I was calling it "RAAM on Ice" :p )
Congrats to Team Cancer! And thank you to Brandy for helping us to experience RAAM vicariously. It was so cool to read about the guys riding through western Md and up into Pa, and know that they were passing through areas that I'm familiar with.
I hope George and Rick get plenty of rest now!
Congrats to Brandy, Rick and George - what an effort!!
Congrats are also due to Kerry White - what a courageous effort!
CA
add on my congratulations also to Brandy, George, Rick and the rest of the Crew.
Brandy you did a wonderul job in keeping us posted with the blog. I agree with another poster here, you are a very talented writer.
