Yep, the fourth one seems to even out the energy in the house. :)
At least, I hope it worked. It's Sammy. She was 6 months old when I got her from the shelter. Bit and scratched a lot at first, had a sign that said "Be careful, I bite!", but I took her anywhoo. Now she hardly bites ...or if she's feeling fed up, I get a paw swipe as a warning.:p
She is a long haired grey tabby...she seems to have lost the body markings, but still has some on her tail and, of course, face.
The middle one was taken when she was "helping" me remove the other (i.e., silly inanimate not-her) ornaments after Christmas.
And...she likes to paw my books out of the shelves and climb in behind. So funny!
Cheeky kitty. Her nickname is Miss Madam, especially when she's in trouble.:D
Awww...I love pet pics!!! Especially kitties: they all have that "Yes, you may worship at the shrine of...ME" look.
Awwwwwwww.
I love seeing all these photos! We don't have a pet in our lives now since putting our dear girl Pepper (Boston Terrier) down at nearly 15 years old a little over a year ago. We are able to travel now so much easier, and we are enjoying the simplicity of a pet-free life for the first time in over two decades, but I do miss the pitter-patter of little paws around the house.
Jen-Jen, your Brody is a doll -- obviously I am completely partial to Bostons, and the next dog I get will hopefully be a Boston rescue.

Oh my house would be so empty without the animals.
I love all the beautiful pet photos. Here are my boys, Mojo and Mr. Moon. They're 8 years old. The first one is Mojo, the second is Mr. Moon.
ccnyc,
That third photo is AMAZING. Wow -- could win a photo contest! Beautiful cats....so elegant!

Thanks, Emily. Just one of the many interesting "poses" I find them in.
Mr. Moon and Mojo thank you, too.
Carol
Carol, what kind of cats are Mojo and Mr moon?
Mimitabby:
AFAIK they are both of mixed ancestry. Moon likes to think he is a Russian Blue and Mojo claims he is a Chartreux. :)

Never doubt the word of a cat!
Here's Cooper, he's a little water obsessed. But I love him! Then Emma Lee, she likes to shake. Brodie's in the avatar.
I just love seeing everybody's pets!
I took a picture of my 14-year-old dog Remy this morning that is both really funny and sad. He came down from upstairs dragging the towel that I cover him up with at night (he wears a sweater, sleeps on a heating pad, and is covered by a towel) and laid down beside me in the office. He had such a funny expression, with his lip stuck under his teeth, that I had to take a picture.
Remy's got a large, fast-growing mass in his lung, and a mass in his liver, severe arthritis, thyroid disease, deaf, nearly blind, you name it. So it's just a matter of time (probably weeks, not months), but for now he makes me laugh.

Awww, divingbiker, what sad news! Your Remy looks like the sweetest thing. We lost our dear Pepper three months shy of her 15th birthday. She was deaf, had poor vision, her kidneys were going fast, and she had epilepsy that suddenly got much worse right at the end. It is so hard to see our furbabies go downhill; their lives are far too short for my taste! I know you'll appreciate every day Remy has left as we did in Pepper's last months and weeks. We are so blessed to have them in our lives, and it is so difficult when they leave us. :(
