L: HAD to get away from the desk, so went to an Indian restaurant close to the office for a lunch of a small salad, spinach, butternut squash in a cream sauce and tandorii chicken

L: 2 slices chicken and 2 slices low salt ham in a whole wheat tortilla wrap, with some avocado, mustard, an apple, cup of roasted corn soup (low salt). I am addicted to the soups at Trader Joe's and another brand I get at the natural foods store
19.5 mile ride, handful of nuts, cranberries, chocolate when I got home
D: went to old neighbors' new house for dinner... champagne, some delicious cheese (Armenian string cheese), about 5 oz strip steak (DH and I shared one), salad, and a little brown rice with kidney beans. Slice of Key Lime pie

D: went to a party; hostess is a great cook; pork green chili, pinto beans, posole, 1 flour tortilla, 1 piece of pumpkin cheesecake roll, 1 glass red wine.

L: left over Japanese chicken curry with left over rice. Karei rice.
D: Baked cauliflower with mayo-mustard sauce with lemon and covered in cheese. and a trial recipe for burdock root and carrot. Kinpira. haven't made it for such a long time, I forgot how to make it.
snack: Ritz crackers and peanut butter. (okay me very bad!!)

Only on rare occasion will I make anything out of a box. Cracker is out of a box. peanut butter out of a jar. mayo pre-made. Garam Marsala for my curry is my own mix.

L: small sandwich on whole wheat with hummus, red pepper, carrots, slice of cheese, an apple
S: nuts and cranberries
D: went out... 2 glasses of wine, half a salad with goat cheese and cranberries, salmon with brown rice, and asparagus wrapped in proscuitto. Too bad the salmon was in a delicious soy based marinade. It was too much salt for me.

Yesterday (rest day):

D: beef shanks with carrots, onion, kale
S: too many samples of the 88% dark chocolate almond/macadamia/sea salt nut bark I made for the office pitch-in today! It is far from sweet - but is like crack - YUMMMM! :o
