I haven't been posting, as after my silly head injury Friday, I have been comforting myself with comfort food. That's stopping now!
yesterday:
B: half a whole wheat bagel with evoo, slice of Machengo, blueberries, and 2 slices uncured, low fat bacon, coffee
L: 2 small left over chicken thighs, kale, sauteed with garlic and tomatoes, an apple
S: nuts, chocolate bits, cranberries
4 mile hike in the woods
S: the other half of the whole wheat bagel and hummus
D: went out to a pub. Had one beer, turkey "tips," green beans, rice pilaf (can't remember the last time I ate regular rice), 2 of DH's onion rings, and we split a pumpkin hazelnut cheesecake slice
Today:
B: 2 home made waffles, walnuts, cranberries, 1.5 apple turkey sausages, blueberries, strawberries, oranges, coffee
L: on a 33 mile ride had a soy nut butter sandwich on 2 slices of Ezekial raisin bread and a pack of nuts and cranberries, 3/4 bottle of Nuun, one Shot Block
S: 2 ww pita rounds and a slice of Gouda
Making a roast chicken for dinner, probably with kale and a salad and a glass of red wine

L: pork roast sandwich with lettuce/tomato on wg bread
Snack: 1 Beer
Dinner: baked chicken in a wine herb sauce, with a bit of parmesan sprinkled on top, roasted potatoes and butternut squash, salad with vinaigrette and blue cheese crumbles, 1 glass white wine

L: left over roast chicken thigh, an apple
S: nuts, chocolate, cranberries
D: Paleo "lasagna" with ground turkey, tomato sauce, zucchini, 2 squares dark chocolate

L: (after running) whole milk and protein powder, banana pancake (1 banana, 3 eggs)
D: beer, lettuce and green onions salad, salmon

L: big spinach salad with lots of veggies, walnut oil for dressing, 1 date, last of the braised beef shank
D: beef bone broth with veggies, left over ground lamb, steamed brussels sprouts

D: steak, risotto with zucchini and parmesan, 1 glass red wine

short and hilly ride (9 miles)

D: went to a party for AMC bike leaders. I had a very small piece of veggie lasagna, salad, 2 glasses of wine, a mini slice of cheese cake

Yesterday:
B: Frittata, bacon, coffee with cream
1 hour group training session
Post-workout: hemp protein shake (in water)
L: roasted chicken thighs, huge salad with lots of veggies, freshly squeezed lemon for dressing
D: scrambled eggs in coconut oil with mushrooms and goat cheese - everything else was frozen and it was far too late to defrost/cook. I didn't pre-cook enough over the weekend...

D: homemade chili, corn bread, 1 beer

D: 1 glass of white wine, 1/2 chicken breast with mushrooms, and artichokes in wine sauce, white rice, broccoli

L: 1 baked chicken leg, mac and cheese
D: 1 piece pepperoni,mushroom, red pepper pizza, salad with vinaigrette and blue cheese crumbles, 1 glass red wine

Yesterday:
B: eggs scrambled with mushrooms, 1 slice bacon, coffee with cream
45 minute Bosu class (much lower intensity than my group training)
L: roasted chicken thigh, brussels sprouts, apple
D: spinach salad with veggies, boiled egg, avocado and avocado oil for dressing
Today:
B: omelet with spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese, 1 slice bacon, coffee with cream
Lunch will likely be braised beef shanks (cooked last night) with sweet potato and a big salad
Big ride planned this afternoon ;)

B: I weighed myself and then promptly ate a whole wheat bagel with chicken breast and cheese :), an orange, coffee
L: 2 veggie burger patties, kale and tomatoes sautéed, cole slaw, an apple
S: nuts, chocolate, cranberries
D: We went to Unos before theatre; ach, it's close but the food sucked. I had one beer, salmon chimichurri, farro salad and roasted veggies. I ate the slice of garlic bread on the plate
For this, I gained almost a pound.
