What an interesting job. That would suit me in my nex-life .
Actually, in my one after that because I am going to be a bra engineer in my nex-life. Or maybe , since I know quite a lot of nutrition in this life and not so much bio-physics I should do that then that...
Well, I quess I fit in with the classic New England tale... I have had many careers HA! I used to coach at the Collegiate level and loved that, managed many retail stores, worked as a carpenter and have been a bike mechanic for the past 15 years... which I absolutely love!! In the offseason, besides doing bike repair, I work at a ski resort and am a custom ski/snowboard boot fitter. And of course, I'm also restoring an older home on the side:):)
Very interesting thread!!
I am a Pastry Chef. I work at a Country Club Nov. 1 through May 31. The Club closses for the summer.
This summer I am working on my website to sell my peanut brittle. I sell hundreds of pounds a season at the country club so decided to go out on my own with it.
I also teach some cooking classes have made desserts for restaurants & caterers. I do wedding cakes on the side when time permits.
After reading some of the amazing things you women do I feel inadequate! I'm an ER doc in a small resort town. I worked in big city (Detroit, L. A.) hospitals for many years until I got burnt out. Now I work in a great place that's only really busy during ski season. I still find it hard to believe that I've been a doc for 25 years. I CAN'T be that old.:o
I'm also house staff to 2 dogs:
Toby (Sir Tobias Rufflebutt), a rough collie,
Cameron (The Court Jester), a smooth collie,
and the cats:
Houston (We Have a Problem) and
Riley (The Puff).
