BMo3 - hey, enjoy living in my bra! (not many get that privilege:p ) I'm glad you can get some use out of it, and now at least you know that it probably won't work for running so not to order that particular style from TE. (there is a style with more support, and I assume Susan will carry it) I have no "perk", either (kids will do that to you) but I also don't have much. Like I said, the medium fits and supports my 34C just perfectly. Bra heaven for me!
I'll find one of the perfect women, you'll find one of the perfect bras.
I never did discover how to buy groceries without spending money. But I did manage to get out of Costco for less than $20!!!
I am enjoying it. I could not go for a run this morning as it was still raining, so I worked out inside. The bra was great for that. It is really nice looking, for those who have not seen this style. I am a 36 B/C or maybe my size went down again.
A win-win situations :)
That is quite impressive.

BMo3 "That is quite impressive."
Trek sez ~ did you flash the abs?
If I kept trying to feed her every night till she felt like eating, she could become conditioned to feeding refusal.
Maizey, not Knot.
X sorry to hear about your friend. that is very sad!!
nanci sorry about your friend also. hope everyone gets back to eating in your family.
lise have a safe flight.
fish i vote for leave your name as is.
knot i'm impressed with you only spending 20 at costco. didn't even know that was possible!
how do we always wind up back on the subject of alcohol here?
Prayers, positive thoughts, positive energy, well wishes, etc.,. are needed for tomorrow (Wednesday). Okay, starting now would work as well, I am nervous. :o
I go to hospital tomorrow for a round of tests. The first one begins at 9:30. Each of the three test should take about 1 hour each. I am going in sleep deprived (I cannot go to bed before midnight and must be up by 5am) and un-caffeinated (NO caffeine for 24 hours). Now the sleep deprivation I can live with, but NO caffeine is just plain cruel and inhumane.
Be fortunate none of you need talk with me tomorrow am. :D
Oh, they called this afternoon and did reassure me that should I have an induced seizure, proper medical personnel will be present-comforting, huh?
I almost forgot to request well wishes for my poor family who must endure me tomorrow morning, and for me. Thanks!!
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, BMO3. I hope things go smoothly, and the doctors provide some definitive answers.
On a different medical note, my doctor informed me at my annual exam in September that it was time for my first colonoscopy (the joy of turning 50). And a couple days later my health plan actually called to schedule it, and left a message on my home answering machine. Of course I put off calling back. Today, 6 weeks later, they called again and got me at work. So I couldn't procrastinate or weasel out of it. Just thought it was interesting the way they track down their patients. I suppose no one volunteers for that test. I've put off mammograms for 2 years at a time and they never called me (I did do it this year).
Has anyone heard from Beta? How is she surviving her 6 week bike exile? Maybe she found it easier to stay away from TE while she had to stay away from the bike?
BMof3 you are in my thoughts (along with your family, but i doubt if you'll be that bad.)
good luck deb... i've had them before. they really do sound worse then they really are. ok so that may be a little white lie, but i wanted to make you feel better.
i haven't heard or seen beta in a while.... hope she's ok.
BMO3, why do you need tests???
DebW, think No Big Deal. NBD. Great drugs, and then the relief of knowing you are almost guaranteed free of CA for ten years.
I have a new baby, I have a new baby!!
Salsa, you are not the only one to receive a snake today!
Introducing Addy, #2 on my most wanted snakes of all time list:
Oh, and Baby Russell is no longer a part of the family- he has been released to the woods out back to make room for the new arrival...
congrats on the new arrival! what kind is s/he? and name?
Eastern Hognose Snake, Addy.
I appreciate the good thoughts for tomorrow!
Deb-you will be fine at your CA. Will they put you out? Some places do, if not they will give you some nice, relaxing medication.
Nanci- CONGRATULATIONS on your newest baby. :D
"Go away! I'll hurt you!! but not really...... OOwwwwwww *poink* my nose hurts! :( "
Today at my department's All Hands Meeting, we had a guest speaker talk about preparing for pandemic flu. Initially kinda scary; but very interesting. I found out that if we are hit with a pandemic, there is a good chance I would be put to work helping with patient care. All county employees are disaster workers, and expected to help out where ever they are needed. I have no specialized training, I'd probably end up changing sheets and bed pans.
And when they asked the proper way to sneeze or cough - I got it right! In our sleeves! See, TE is a font of information......

And yet TE is no substitute for professional medical advice. Please consult your physician before sneezing, eating Dove chocolate or starting any exercise program. TE is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of TE TD

Swampwalker David Carroll (naturalist, artist, author, and turtle expert) recently won a MacArthur genius grant. I've read 2 of his books ("The Swampwalker" and "Self-Portrait with Turtles") and this man's powers of observation are truly amazing. Has anyone else (Nanci?) read his books? I highly recommend them. And what is Carroll going to do with his $500,000 award prize money? He's going to buy health insurance for the first time in 30 years, according to an article in the Boston Globe.
I have a pumpkin pie in the oven right now. And seeing as I'm home alone this week, anyone want to come over and help me OD on pumpkin pie?
snap if i get sick again this december like i did last year (though it was food poisoning) i'm gonna call you to take care of me. sounds to me your more than qualified.
God Willing, I will never change sheets or bedpans again, but... ok, no buts. Sorry CWR, Snap can take the job.
I'm up for punkin pie, though... sooo hungry!
Punkin pie? Is there whip cream?
I'll pick up a few six packs of Buffalo Bills Pumpkin Ale as I head out....
O.M.G. Trek! I LOVE Pumpkin Ale! I was *amazed* how much an ale could taste like pumpkin pie. So good. http://qb.smugmug.com/photos/102799722-Ti.gif
i wasn't aware there was such an ale. things i miss out on.
...I think you're inexperienced here. What kind of little sister would sheet-change and do bedpan duty?
My rules are simple:
If I am not
a) sleeping with/living with/'married to' you
b) wearing your name on my collar under "Property Of..."
or c) am not totally bound to your caretaking for any other reasons of health, sanity, or simple hygine
I am not attending to your bodily functions.
I like you lots, but, alas, not that much. :D ;)
Probably over DGF's dead body. I don't really want that... B is inseparably attached to A. :)
That's the problem with all these professional jobs. I never get to wear my collar.
All right, ladies. The pie is out of the oven, but I'm not cutting it until tomorrow at 6 pm. You've got a day to get here. We'll expect that Pumpkin Ale, Trek. Sounds good.
Last week I drank a Polygamy Porter (courtesy of my friend from Utah) - "when one just isn't enough" *groan* The label had a naked man and 3 naked women.
only a day to get there! travel time alone to the other side of the lower 48 takes me about 22 hours.
can you just mail me a piece?
chickwhorips "i wasn't aware there was such an ale. things i miss out on."
ooooh the things we have in Hayward
hey kit have you ever seen SLC Punk?
