You ladies crack me up.
Happy Birthday Lise :) .. BTW, what is in your precious dachsund's mouth??
Looks like a banana, on fire....
Have a wonderful day everyone.
Denise
That's a bandana around its neck. I used to always wonder what it was, then one day I figured it out, but then promptly forgot, but knew I had once known. That really bothered me. Then, months later, someone else said what it was, and now it's committed to memory permanently.
Tingly _and_ smells great!

plus you can use it for minty cupcake frosting :D
mmm yummm - someone at the STP year suggested a good conversation starter might be: You ride up to a total stranger, pull the butt butter pak out of your jersey pocket, and say in a loud vioce," I'm complaining to Cascade, this is the worst energy gel I've ever had."Quote:

PBP is probably too much money... I would love to, though. But I think I would prefer riding in the Alps again to PBP. I do want to do a 1200k, I just don't know if I want to make it the focus of a trip.
I personally have no interest in PBP, or even BMB for that matter. I might like the Florida 1200k, some year.
$400 entry fee (BMB) yeah right.
I sent you the first e-mail, which has three pics attached. He says there is _another_ Floridian attempting the Death Valley Cup! (There are five from Florida entered in Badwater this year).
I remember last year, I was following him on the webcast, and he dropped out of sight (on line) and didn't move, and didn't move- for hours!! I gave up, thought he DNF'd, but he was resting/cooling in a hotel, I think, and resumed running and finished. I was so excited!!
Be sure not to miss Snap's post in Go Floyd Go or whatever it is up in Open.
I have to tear myself away from all the queefing and assne to take the pets outside...But it's difficult!!
Nanci--I'm so grateful you scan the posts and tell us what to go read! I would miss some great ones if not for you. I loved that post of Snap's!Quote:

It was in the middle of an stopable river of semi-drunken Cubs fans pouring down the sidewalk. Actually a little scary. Next time I'll park a block away on a side street.
It's 79% with 72% humidity, and 8 mph wind. The streets are slick from humidity. I'm contemplating riding to VB anyway. This cycling thing is addictive, did'j'a notice?
lise i know i'm a day late and a dollar short, as always, but happy birthday! :)
though if you are celebrating a month of it, then i'm right on time!
