Yeah - on those expansion joints, I included a photo of them in my ride report that was taken purely by accident. (I think I was taking out the camera to take a pic of the donkeys and pushed the shutter button by accident.) So it's not a great photo, but the fact that you can see my (SIZE 11 :eek: ) foot is smaller than the joints proves that they were huge. And a huge PITA!!

Glad none of you had a run in with bees.... :rolleyes: But it sounds like you didn't see any donkeys, so you missed out! :p

Brandy, your photos are great.

I wish I could have done the ride this year. I was off doing "The Terrible One" with the Death Ride team. Maybe next year, I'll plan the schedule around this. Expansion joints ... maybe not. :rolleyes:
