It was lovely. My mom called me on Saturday and said she would be by around 10 on Sunday (my birthday). I was babysitting my grandson for the weekend (a wonderful gift!), but he was sick, and we had been camped out on the living room floor overnight dealing with it.

My mom showed up at 8:30! I said, "You said you'd be here at 10."

She said, "You didn't come when I wanted you to on your birthday, either!"

That rascal.
