Update on the Ibex Runner shorts.
Now that they've been washed a few times, they don't creep like they used to.

But my Ibex Runners don't creep up on me anymore, and at this point I would even consider buying another pair for hot summer-day wear.
I actually wore my Icebreaker quarter zip when I commuted to work Wednesday. It was 42 out at 5:30 AM. It might have been a bit too warm with a LS Craft base layer and a wind jacket, but my regular jerseys are too cool for that temperature and my other 2 wool cycling specific jerseys are way too warm for that temperature.
I keep thinking "this is the last time I will be wearing my Shak for a few months," and then we have another raw, cool day where it is the perfect thing to wear. But I am trying to stay away from any purchases of wool for a few months. Of course, if anyone sees a black full zip Shak in an x small, tell me!
Yep, wore my full zip shak AND woolie base layer this morning to walk to breakfast at 7:30. It was about 55 degreesF and lovely out. :D

My two cents on the Ibex running shorts- THEY RULE!
And I have never previously worn tight shorts to run in, so for me to love these really says a lot!
No creep issues what-so-ever- these babies stay put. The fit is good- I am usually between small and medium, and I think the medium was a good choice. Comfy without being constrictive. I don't know how they will be in warm weather, but for the shoulder-seasons they are very temperature-moderating.
One washing in Woolite took care of any scratchy issues. I roll down the waistband once to make them a little lower-rise. So far, I've run in them, slept in them, worn them under my rock-climbing pants, and tried yoga in them.

Ibex Spin jersey on SAC now. Just snagged one, my first foray into the wool world! Can't wait to try it out!
Size up on this jersey unless you like your jerseys VERY form fit. I'm generally a medium, and the Spin jersey in medium fit me, but left nothing to the imagination. The large fit more like a normal jersey - sleek enough but somewhat loose, though not baggy. Also, the zipper on these is very small gage, of the hidden type, and didn't operate smoothly on the samples I tried.Quote:

OK, I blame all of you for tempting me to take advantage of the Ibex sale and free shipping, which caused a shirt (the Kate in black) and a pair of tights (the Loose Tights) to show up at my doorstep this weekend.
The problem: I forgot that because I'm short (5'3"), the wool tights would be too long on me. I usually either buy things in petite or get them taken up professionally, but I don't know how that would work with the wool tights, which are knit and have some panels at the bottom that would hit below the point where the hem would be best on me. Does anyone have thoughts/advice? Or should I just roll them up twice, even if it doesn't look as good?

RTW - would a smaller size fit you better? I'd ask Ibex if they'd hem the tights for you if you like the size you have but they are just too long.
