What a climb!!! I am so happy Popovych made it back to the rest of the team...it was great to see him smile it off!!!
Now...what about that Michael Rasmussen  Looks like one to watch....can't wait to see how he tackles those mountains today!
the most amazing thing to ME about Lance and Kik and their divorce is despite the amount of fame they have, I have never heard either one of them say one bad word about the other... not once. Just zero of the typical badmouthing of the ex... Quite the example for others on how to end a relationship IMHO...
being recently divorced I can personally tell you it takes effort sometimes to keep your mouth shut about the ex and not be negative... :D
Being one who has seen all my relationships fail, I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. I hope they're ALL happy.

Yes, he's the national champion of Khazakstan, or however you spell it. :)

Voigt out of Tour de France

Damn, I'm good :(Quote:
On Wednesday evening it was confirmed, Team CSC's Jens Voigt is out of the Tour de France after he finished 39 seconds ( ) out of the time limit in stage 11. Voigt, who on Sunday captured the yellow leader's jersey, has been ill with fever for the past few days.
"When I started in today's stage, I knew it was against all odds, but I still wanted to do everything I possibly could to continue. Kim Andersen gave me a lot of motivation during the stage, but in the end it just wasn't enough," said a disappointed Jens Voigt shortly after he was given the sad message by the race jury.
This means Team CSC is down to seven riders in this year's Tour de France. On Sunday David Zabriskie, who also had the yellow jersey earlier in the race, had to abandon, still in pain after his crash in the team time trial.
Can you give us a re-cap on your list? Who is left? :D

thank you for sharing ;-)
eh, Bobby J's doomed. He'll probably get run over by the team car again this year.
Bjarne: " oops Bobby, terribly sorry, didn't mean to do that. Here, let me extend your contract. Care for a Cliff Bar? "

Gotta love that Lance-centric media.Quote:
When the winner of the eleventh stage of the Tour de France was asked if his victory today was a 'gift' from Lance Armstrong, the softly spoken Kazakh was a little taken aback.
