Good morning, Duck! You're right, and it's a risk I've had to take. I'm not terribly worried, though. When we moved in in June last year, there was no evidence that it had bloomed at all last year. And when my SIL, the award winning landscape designer, gave her recommendations for what to do with our overgrown yard, it was the only plant she recommended I move. When she said it was a peony, I was shocked. :p It didn't look like anything to me at the time. Besides, it was right in the middle of the corner we'll be developing as our "outdoor living room", so it had to go. It's now in a sunnier part of the yard, which I hope it likes, and as long as it grows, even if it does not bloom, I will be happy. Really, I'll be amazed at everything that survives and thrives under my care. I am so not a green thumb!
