If Homer truly existed, the date of his birth is usually 850 - 800 BC. The laurel wreath was only awarded at the Pythian games. The laurel was the symbol of Apollo and the Pythian games were in honor of him. These didn't start until 600 BC or so, but did have poetry and music competitions. Thus you are unlikely to found a bust of Homer with a laurel wreath. Of course you could always make one in photoshop. :p

As a technical illustrator, it's really bothering me that on those 10 cans of soup the flavor names are crooked and not curved in perspective to the same extent as the other label elements above and below them. :eek: :( It's a curse, I tell you! :(
I hate to tell you how much time I've wasted trying to get a view of Warhol's soup can(s) to see how he did it. The images on web pages are small - but it looks to me like he did it just that way - with flat words on the side of the "round" can.
Blame Andy.
Some seem to be curv-ish and some not.
Or maybe that's what happens when you stare at them too long
