Lisa: yeah I had one of those commutes recently....by the time I got home I was sooo soaked water was swishing out of pretty much everywhere! But it was fun!!!

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? Probably ~35 mph riding through old Ellicott City

Most memorable moment on my bike: Probably my first road ride. My knuckles were white and I thought I was going to have a heart attack!

Most fun ever had on a bike? It's rare that I don't have fun on my bike - especially if I'm out riding with friends.

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? I'm not very fast. I think I hit 21 on a downhill, but don't have many hills around here.

Most memorable moment on my bike: When I was younger, I would always fall going around a particular turn (not sure why), and have scars on both knees from the road rash I used to get.

Most fun ever had on a bike? I enjoy riding with Mr. Sheesh. We ride almost every weekend along the lake path and the view is beautiful! I especially love the sunrise.

:p Tell me about it, sister! The fastest I've ever gone was at the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon last month, when I was going down an overpass, with a tailwind, and my arms in the aerobars. 30 mph! Whoo-hoo!

Thanks, Lise! The only hill I ever tackle is on the south end of the Lake Path. I make it a point to hit it both ways, though, rather than going around because I know it's my only real chance to do it.

You have true mental toughness. I ride that "hill" when I'm training in my own mind, but not when I'm just "out for a ride"! :p

Well L.A. you've made a lousy first impression. Lashing out at the women on the TE boards because of something that happened somewhere else is completely uncalled for.

Yet you continue to antagonize the women on the board. Please take yourself elsewhere.

If you wanted to "understand" women cyclists better, perhaps it would have been more prudent to ask questions in a polite manner, rather than make macho, adolescent comments.
