Mountain Mama Road Bike Challenge

Just putting in a plug for the first event that I ever rode in (last year)

This beautiful and challenging tour (NOT a race) covers mountainous secondary paved roads winding thru rural Virginia and West Virginia. It is a fund-raiser for the Highland Co Va Recreation Commission, and offers 100, 75, 50, and 30 mile routes. The century covers 9 mountains and 10,000 feet of climbing.

I did the 30 mile "wimpy" version through the valley foothills, and had a MAH-velous time!

Will anybody join me this year?????
