The Caltriple crown site has been updated with the Mount Tam results. Now I get to buy stuff! :D

Woo hooo!!! Congratulations! It took a lot of work to earn the right to buy some stuff! But you'll be 8 to 10 minutes faster on Diablo when wearing your Triple Crown jersey!:D

For sure a sleeveless jersey. Maybe a long sleeve one since winter is coming.

It's hard being back at work. I know, I know... you guys have been at work all summer.

I told Thom yesterday I thought I was losing my fitness level. Then proceeded to crush the record I set at the beginning of August on my regular mountain bike ride. He called me a nasty name - teasing of course. He stayed with me until the final climb, but had nothing left when I acclerated near the top.

Anyway, it's hard to fit in the long rides. I'm hoping once I actually start teaching, I can get into a long ride routine a couple weekends a month.

You earn the California Triple Crown when you complete three double centuries in a year. The Mount Tam double was my third on August 5. I've been waiting for the CalTriple Crown website to be updated so I could buy the jersey that says I did it. :D
