Sunflowers to Roses Ride for Cancer

Sunflowers to Roses is a really neat ride because not only does it raise money locally and nationally for Cancer victims including the Lance Armstrong Foundation, but it also supports health, fitness and family fun through bike riding! When I heard about the Sunflowers to Roses Ride, a 100-mile bike ride that benefits the KU Cancer Center, Cancer Action, the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Sunflowers to Roses Organization, I had to register and participate. More than 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone. Three out of four families in America will be faced with caring for a family member with cancer. We are one of those families.


The Sunflowers to Roses Organization was founded to assist people living with cancer. Their mission is to inspire and empower people affected by cancer through hands on programs and research.



I need to raise at least $100 to participate in the Ride, but my goal is to raise $500. It's a big goal, but I'm taking a big step. I would appreciate your support as I follow my passion.
