"Today was the best day I have ever had on a bike. I feel like I won a huge race. Today I road on the road for and hour and half with my Dad. It has been a little over four months since I crashed and was in a coma.. Today was nothing short of a miracle. Today I also visited my friend Bret Neylon., he is doing good and looking better than ever. I have put up some new pictures of everything.."

I love a happy ending.

I volunteered at the Sandy Springs Classic criterium last weekend and Saul was there. He's quite an inspiration -- working so hard to recover from his nasty crash. He's determined to make it back to racing and he certainly has the drive to do it. He's also just a nice, nice guy.

I picked up one of his "Raisin Hell" bracelets in support of the Shepherd Center here in Atlanta. That's where he got much of his treatment for recovery and rehabilitation from his injuries.
