new member howdy

Hi Ladies.... I just registered and wanted to say hello.
I'm located in North Texas and have just enlisted with Team in Training to do my first triathlon. I have been cycling (road and mtn) for years so I'm not worried about that part. The swimming is sort of intimidating, but I am really excited about the whole thing. Curious if any of you have worked with TNT in the past. I am told that they will provide some coaching/ mentor info.
I'd sure welcome any info or advice!

Welcome! I know almost nothing about the Team in Training folks in this area except there are usually lots of them participating in local rallies and they are very friendly. I've toyed with the idea of joining myself, but it just wouldn't work right now. Keep us posted on how things go.
