Back from NY & able to ride:)

I received the all clear from my eye doctor (after last week's "torn cornea/I'm not sure I'll be able to fly" predicament) . . . had a wonderful time in NY - the weather was gorgeous, spent lots of time with my family and got in some great running and trail hikes. Yet, inasmuch as I enjoyed the runs & hikes, it wasn't until I got back on the bike that I realized just how very important cycling is in my life, and how very much I missed it.

I returned to a wonderful belated birthday party and the ice cream cake was decorated with lots of grass & sunflowers, a road & fence with two bikes and Tour de France flags. And to top off my obsession with cycling, one of my gifts was the Polar CS200cad - ooh, I'm so excited:) Haven't had a chance to take my bike over to the shop as I'm going through those first few days of adjustment of being back - laundry, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway . . . just wanted to post the update and to thank you all for your support and advice - I missed the boards and the wonderful posters here:)
