I like the hiking.
I don't like the hours spent on the computer to find all the caches in an area, logging them, figuring out how to load them to their separate GPS units, taking the endless pictures of what you found and what you put in, looking for an hour to find the cache in the first place...
They are not very technically savvy, so they take advantage of their time with Thom to learn. And that's good. But it was from 9 AM to 7 PM that they spent working on this. I could have done something a little more exciting with my time, then cook a fabulous brunch and delicious supper.
I don't like how they insist upon doing it every time we're together. And they want to do them ALL.
Anyway... I don't really want to rag on something someone enjoys. Like I said, it has caused them to become more fit. And if it gets people outside, thinking about their environment, that's good too.
I'm not taking my bike to Yosemite. Thom insists they are here to visit with me as well. Hmmm... and that would be rude.
Hopefully, the scenery will adjust my mood. :D
Thanks as always for listening and letting me vent.

PS I really like that cat!
