The Princes Islands ride

If you're thinking of visiting the intriguing city of Istanbul this year, why not go on a cycling side-trip? We headed to Istanbul and found that it offered the perfect opportunity to combine sightseeing with a two-wheeled adventure. The Princes Islands, situated in the Sea of Marmara are a beautiful, laid-back islands to explore, easily accessible by ferry from the centre of Istanbul. Better still, the islands are car-free, have cheap bikes to rent for kids and adults, and the largest island Büyükada has an outer loop that skirts the coastline. Hello, beautiful views!
