So not fair! Brandi, that picture looked like a postcard:)
You're one lucky gal!
What a beautiful picture Brandi! I love the area you live in; gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the picture.

Now that makes for a real pretty riding route. I keep telling my husband we have to move out west, geez.

:( Wah, that makes me homesick. Lucky you, Brandi :) !
Every day I look out over where i live and think "I live here"!
I never take it for granted!
wow, beautiful area...:)
I live right next to Mission Trails Regional Park (a really well know mtn bike area) but I am a roadie... LOL... :D
Brandi- do you ever ride out to the Pinnacles? Looks like you might be near them.
Well the pinnacles are about two to two and half hours away. There are so many places to ride around here close! as you can see from the picture I don't have to go far for a great place to ride. I can look out my window s and see tese peaks too.
My BF and I are coming out to thiat part of the coast in June. It is beautiful! We will be staying in Morro Bay and want to do some riding...road and/or mountain...What are the "don't miss" rides in your area? Do you know a good place to rent bikes? Probably looking for FS mountain bikes.
We will be coming out to the coast after going to my neice's graduation in Visalia, staying in Morro Bay for three days, then driving up the coast to SF to fly back home. Maybe we can get together with some of you to ride together??
Great pictures, Brandi!
Linda
UGH! i don't like you anymore!
ok... just kidding.. i'm just jealous!
There is a new bike shop that opened there in Morro bay. It's on main street I believe. Up the street from a great little deli that just opened. And yes there are some great rides! Porfumo canyon is one of my favorites. An amazing view of the ocean. My ride I do is Turri road and the bike shop guy should be able to tell you about both. Art's cyclery is our big lbs. But if I am around I would be happy to show you around. But I am a sand sculptor and that time of year is very busy for me but you never know. pM and I can give you directions to these bike rides and can recommend a book as well.Quote:
