Indeed! Too bad there were no witnesses since it will always be one person's word against the other.

Maybe it wasn't in this particular article but there were two vehicles that witnessed it. One behind the mayor and one traveling the opposite direction. One of the vehicles went after him and apparently that's why he went back. Both witnesses support the cyclist.
