Anthem's first ride

Took the new bike out this morning for my very first mountain biking ride and the bike performed beautifully. I'm really happy with the bike performance it rolled over everything the trail through at it, the full suspension makes the riding fairly smooth. Really appreciated the disk brakes at times!. The trail we took was rated "moderate" and I found a couple sections somewhat dicey especially two narrow bridges followed by a 8 ft drop. I chickened out on that section and just walked the bike thru. This trail is in a heavy forested area with not much room between the trail and trees I think that made things seem more difficult. The initial half mile push up the fire road to get to the trail head was a workout in its self as the grade was pretty steep but the view from the top made it all worth it. Over all pretty pleased with my first experience and looking forward to discovering many more trails in our area.
