So, how funny is this?? Guess he has to keep busy doing something, now that he lost all his sponsors.
At least he has a sense of humor.

after all he probably knows more about bikes than most wrenches. Good for him for using his skills and getting on with life.
this was a very helpful video for newbies like me ;) How else am I to know what to do with a flat tyre. Good on Lance for finding his true calling!
Wonder how long it would take him without the drugs.
Sorry, couldn't resist ...
It's spreading:

Lance forgot to close the brake lever after he put the tire back on. Just sayin'.
Discarding the valve cap--is that a weight weenie thing? I never bother with it because , ahem, I'm kinda lazy that way, but every time the bike comes back from the shop the valve caps have been replaced with shiny new ones.
Valve caps are an important part of air retention in a Schrader valve. Those should always be in place and in good condition.
On a Presta valve, they're kinda pointless. A waste of time IMO, rather than a waste of weight. Mainly they keep the valve stem from poking through the wall of a new tube in the box or in the seat bag. I suppose they might give the stem a tiny bit of protection on 'cross bikes, but for the most part, skinny Presta tubes don't get ridden through the kind of debris that might threaten a valve stem anyway.
I think tossing the nut is kind of a weight weenie thing though. To me, they're useful for positioning a new tube, and at that point it's a waste of time to take it off again.
