Yes. Zac and Terry and Jason built and maintain my single and our tandem Sevens. They are really good guys and this is just devastating.
Oh man, that s*cks. Hope they catch the perps and find all the bikes.
I shipped all my bikes to Zac and his guys when I moved here, they built them all back up. They made my old GT PNW weather ready by adding the perfect fenders. They figured out how to get wood fenders on the quirky Motobecane and even displayed Knott's beautiful, red, Giant, the bike we found in a thrift shop, in their window. But why not, the Giant's a traffic stopper. (see "lugged steel beauty" thread)
Zac worked with Chris, my California wrench for some time. So he's my go to guy up here, especially for the road bike,
I hate bike thieves!
The crooks must have had a truck. There's got to be a camera on the shop or nearby.
OH that makes me sick. We like to think our shop is somewhat "safe" as we live above the shop and have neighbors that live above their shops too. Those are some expensive bikes. :(
ARRGHH! It's just amazing what a bunch of crooks are willing to do. Must take more than just one guy to do this. I hope the police can recover all the bikes. I've known one shop owner who uses a large chain link to lock up the bikes in the window. Let the potential thieves know that they have to cut through a huge chain to steal the bike.
So disheartening.
That's terrible! :(
That really stinks. I hope they have some kind of business insurance to help with the loss..
