Does anyone know if Luna Tours has gone out of business? Their website is still available but shows only 2005 tours. Their listed phone is disconnected.

We were able to contact Rebecca of Luna Tours. She confirmed that Luna Tours is no longer in operation.

Thanks, guess I will have to look elsewhere for a group!
What about womantours? I've not gone on any of their trips, but they sound like a fun bunch (having done all-women trips associated with other activities, I say with confidence that these groups are usually awesome).
Good luck!
Thanks, and yes I looked at Woman tours but was looking at Ireland/price/time offered and the 2005 Luna description looked like a possibility. Have also looked at VBT and a number of others. Now, after following some links I have discovered Cycling Safaris which is a company based in Ireland and has very reasonable prices compared to most American companies. I don't need 4 and 5 star accommodations!
Another company you might want to look at is Iron Donkey, also out of Ireland. They run group tours as well as self-guided, and if you opt for self-guided you can pick any date and itinerary. Their self-guided tours can be self-supported, or they can arrange to deliver your luggage to you each night. I used them for my Ireland tour back in 2003 - you might find some useful info in my journal at http://denise2003ireland.crazyguyonabike.com.Quote:

They actually do guided (group) tours too. It might be worth a price and locale comparison between the two companies.Quote:

We all love to help someone plan a trip! :D
Regarding WomanTours, I joined them in a November tour around the Big Island of Hawaii, and I was very impressed. I would join them again in a heartbeat. Wonderfully friendly, considerate, organized, and knowledgeable gals. It was my first-ever bike tour so I had no one with whom to compare, but they definitely spoiled me for future tours.
Hi Oldbikah,
I found this site today, maybe you'll find something helpful!

I know a woman in my club that went on a Cycling Safaris tour. She loved it and highly recommends them.
