2014 Kinetic Rock and Roll trainer

We are seriously looking into buying this if they can even come out on the floors (been told end of October). We're from Montreal and last I heard it was not available here yet.

Anyone of you saw/tried the new revamped model?

I hope I will be able to see it out of the box and try it before buying it. But I've been told they rarely allow that. If I'm going to spend that much on a trainer that I never saw/tried and can't return, not too sure my interest would be there. Lesson learned with my current bike (my fault though, not the LBS).
