Bought DBF New Bike!

His previous bike (2007 Trek 1500SLR) had been through a few crashes and by the end of last summer he was uncomfortable riding it. Add getting a new puppy and somehow a new frame bumped down on the list of priorities until this summer. I'm so glad we waited! Here is an album of his new Specialized Venge Pro OSBB with Campagnolo Chorus. Seeing how excited he was building the bike and riding it to work this morning was 100% worth it - I can't wait for the two of us to ride together!

Speaking of absurd commuters...

The Venge will only be his commuter until we can afford to buy him a bike specifically for commuting. He raced a little bit in college and hopefully this bike will allow him to get back into racing or whatever/wherever else his passions take him. The original plan was to get a more reasonable frame until we can both afford Indy Fab but there was a crazy deal for this 2012 Venge frame (only two left and one was his size!).

A few guys in our club got Venges at the end of last year. It is an AWESOME bike!!! It should be a great race bike. Lots of luck to him!!
