Low Blood Pressure Wierdness
I did some searching on TE and noticed there were some of you with the low blood pressure issue too. I am in the middle of final exams right now, generally I'm stressed out and I drink a ton of coffee. You would think my BP would be elevated. I keep noticing while sitting studying that suddenly I'm lethargic to the point I can barely move. After 2 or 3 episodes of this I whipped out my BP cuff and started checking it. The last few times I have felt like this my BP was 95/65 and my pulse was 50 bpm. I felt like crap! I think this has been happening a lot lately b/c I keep getting these massive slumps in my day where I just want to go lay on the warm pavement at school and sleep. I'm absolutely freezing when this happens too. I have been drinking a lot of water but it's not quite cutting it and I'm a bit confused
Low Blood Pressure Wierdness
While I also have normal blood pressure on the low side and dodge the occasional faint, the lethargy and sleep side I always consider separately. I have a low tolerance for lack of sleep and when my body decides it is time to go to sleep there is no fighting it. I always liken it to a little man turning off all the lights. I am lucky if I can brush my teeth before I go under. Also my body temp always drops like a stone when I am tired and I often start shivering uncontrollably until I get into bed. This sounds similar to what you are experiencing. I am always fine after I have slept so I would suggest finding a way to feed more sleep sessions into your study schedule even if they are short and make sure you get back on a better sleep schedule once this cram session is over.
