Little Red Ride

I got my ride packet from the Little Red Riding Hood Ride that my three biking sisters and I are doing on June 1. I got so excited that I went out and bought 4 matching bondi bands for us to wear as "costume."

This weekend I managed a 76 mile and a 40 mile back to back at a resonable crawl- ie if we do the century we won't be out past dark, just possibly close to it. I feel Like I'm almost ready to do it. Will be taking a week off while the SAG guy and I take a trip to SF to celebrate our 40th weddin anniversary and then will have three weeks to recover and ramp up for the ride.

I hope the weather cooperates; we've had an exaggerated series of spring swings this year.

I'm signed up for LLRH too! It is my post pregnancy get in shape goal. I'm really excited. It will be my first century in 20 years, and my second century ever. My longest ride this year has been 60 miles. Spring weather hasn't been entirely cooperative!
