I was just curious if anyone has read this book? If so, what did you think? (no spoilers please!) I saw another thread which some people indicated they might read it. It was on a list of books titled "11 Books that Will Make You Cry".

I haven't read it, but based on the Goodreads reviews, and a 3.6 rating there, I probably wouldn't read it.
I read it.
Poor writing...
Maybe that's why it makes readers cry? ;)
Ok thanks! (so many books, so little time!) They don't have it at my local library and I hate investing if I am not going to enjoy it. I thought it might be fun to read a book that included my other passion! Has anyone read any good books that have cycling in them?
I just finished The Secret Race by Tyler Hamilton with Dan Coyle. It's much more than Tyler's confession of his doping; it's a very detailed look at the culture of bike race doping and how endemic it is throughout the high levels of the sport. In the end I found his story very moving.
Goodreads is a great little site for book reviews. I use it a lot. I'm pretty sure no one is paid to leave reviews like they are on Amazon.
Thanks Irulan, maybe I will give it a try. I have a copy of "It's Not About the Bike" and I did not finish it. I was a little shy of trying another rider's story but if you thought it was good I can give it a whirl! This one I can get from the library.
