A Rivendell Banana Bag. Biggest bag I could bring myself to put on a road bike. :o

It's a different shape than mine I think. You can get a lot into one of those. So when are you going up Diablo again? You can't use no coat as an excuse now. :)
I think we're going to do Hamilton this weekend.

Humf! I don't think I've ever used that as an excuse.Quote:

Regarding the shape, it is the same as the one in the Picture but my seatpost extends farther out of the seat tube so the bag hangs at a different angle. I'm going to have to replace the leather seat strap as it isn't long enough for the placement of the Avocet rails.
Must not look must not buy;) :rolleyes:Quote:

I've got it on my 1981 Mercian so the waxed cotton and leather look just right.
Oh, snap! I believe one of these lexan babies and a nice silver and leather flask (hmm, wonder why I know about those?) will fit.

Lee & I were originally going to join a ride on Saturday with some of the Riv bunch starting from Canada Rd. & Rt. 92 in Woodside (there'll be lots of banana bags in attendance I'll bet!), but we just found out that the husband of a friend of ours in our club died suddenly on Sunday (he'd been ill, but it was still unexpected) so we'll be going to his memorial instead :(
Sunday we'll either head out to Woodside or ride out to Alum Rock park.
Ugh. After meeting up with the bottomless Lemon Drop in San Diego - my liver needs a break.......
