Well, since no one has responded, I live a couple hundred miles away and go there often, and my brother lives there and knows it inside and out. Between the two of us maybe we can help.

Kirksville is 3 hours away (therefore as close to KC as it is to anything else). I know a lot of people in the KC area, including KCBike and the MoBikeFed staff.
