AMGEN Stage 2 Finish

How cool is this! I got a bike fit (after my accident) and a new stem and some new tires. The shop owner (a woman) sent me an email invite to a Cannondale event for the whole day of Stage 2 AMGEN (where I live). I went on a ride (with way too advanced riders) down the finish part of the tour (I was last), had a great catered lunch at the shop (Bike Station Aptos), and then free passes to the VIP tent at the finish line. The VIP tent had a TV to watch the riders coming down our crazy mountain roads (that's why I need a huge rear cassette...). I have ridden on many of those roads, but not all the worst ones. Then I drank wine and ate dessert and got my own personal video of Peter Sagan crossing the finish line. And, the weather was perfect. That was amazing.
